Boozy Orange Sangria

This boozy cocktail becomes a fruity refreshing experience combining red wine, vodka and orange syrup. Not a traditional sangria at all BUT dare I say "easy sangria"?! Especially if you have the confit oranges on hand already! The vodka provides a strong foundation, while the red wine adds depth and richness.  Orange syrup introduces a burst of citrusy sweetness, balancing the bold flavors of the spirits. Make sure to choose a wine you love, I prefer a pinot noir or cabernet sauvignon.

Ingredients
1 oz vodka
3 oz red wine
1 oz orange syrup
1 slice of confit orange
optional garnish:
-fresh orange slice with a cherry
-slice of confit orange with an olive
 -mixed fruit

You'll need a shaker and muddler

Directions:

1. Add vodka, red wine, orange syrup and the slice of confit orange into a shake. Lightly muddle the orange slice. Fill shaker with ice and shake for 20 seconds. Strain into a wine glass or highball over fresh ice and garnish. Cheers!
