I love wooden boxes for the purpose of hiding something I use routinely, that otherwise, may be a bit of an eye sore out in the open. Wooden boxes like this, adds warmth and charming character to a room, and are easily accessible for when you need that extra charging wire, lighter, tea bag or dog medicine. This one was handmade by "John Sweeney 8-5" (see pencil scribble on the base). He finished it in a rich dark stain that really highlights the natural grain and gives it a moody, rugged aesthetic we love. The lid is completely removable.
